We are a small, family-run homestead in Liverpool, Texas — two people who truly believe in God Almighty, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, and who try to do everything set before us in excellence, the way He would ask of us. That conviction is the root of everything we grow, raise, make, and sell.

REGENERATIVE, BY CONVICTION

Our animals' manure goes back into our soil, closing the circle instead of trucking it off and trucking synthetic fertilizer back in. It's slower than a bag of chemical fertilizer, but it builds soil that keeps giving instead of soil that wears out.

WHY WE REFUSE THE CHEMICALS

We will not use pesticides, herbicides, or man-made fertilizers on this land. We won't even bring in bagged potting soil or garden soil from the big box stores, because most of it is built on synthetic fertilizer too. That's a line we've drawn for our family, our animals, and our customers — we'd rather grow less, slower, than put something on this land we wouldn't want to eat ourselves. A lot of what fills grocery store shelves today is grown hydroponically, feeding plants on man-made nutrient solutions instead of living soil. That may be an efficient way to grow food, but it's not the way we choose to grow it. We want what leaves this farm to be exactly what it looks like — nothing more, nothing hidden.

HEIRLOOM SEED, NOT A MERRY-GO-ROUND

Every seed we plant and sell is 100% non-GMO heirloom — nothing hybridized to go sterile after one season. Save the seed from this year's crop, and you can grow next year's crop from it, and the year after that. You're not locked into buying new seed from a big box store every spring; the cycle belongs to you.

GROWN TO YOUR ORDER

Whether you need 20 plants or 1,000, we sell exactly what you ask for — nothing more, nothing less — at a fair, reasonable price. You tell us what you're planting, and that's what we'll have ready for you. This is our small piece of ground, tended the way we believe it was meant to be — for our family, and for yours.

Herbs

Grown without pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.  Teas are a nice way to slow down and drink in wonderful flavorful herbs.  Sitting on your porch with the morning sun rise, sipping on your favorite herbal tea knowing that you are only putting pure tea goodness in your body and no extras, just plain wholesome herbal tea.

Soap

Handmade soap with oils and taken through the process of saponification.  After a 4 to 6 week cure time you have a bar that gives you a wonderful lathering bath or shower.  Different Essential oil scents are offered during seasonal changes as well as the look and design of the bar. We want our customers to know that simple and handmade are what we provide.

  • Our Approach

    We're a small homestead built on a simple idea: the best things come from paying attention to the land and the seasons. Everything we grow and make comes from the same few acres, and each part of the homestead feeds the others.

    Grown with care. Our CSA shares are harvested at peak ripeness and grown using no synthetic pesticides just all organic practices and regenerative methods. We focus on flavor and soil health over volume, so what lands on your table is what we'd want on our own table.

    Honey from healthy hives. Our bees forage on local wildflowers, clover, and our own gardens. We harvest raw, unfiltered honey in small batches and only take what the hives can spare.

    Soap made by hand. We make our soap in small batches using cold-process methods, with simple ingredients like olive oil, and other natural oils, tallow/goat milk, our own honey, herbs from the garden. No synthetic fragrances or dyes we only use Essential oils and natural colorants like micas and clays.

    Rooted in community. We believe you should know who grows your food. Our CSA members aren't just customers, they're part of the farm. We share in our blog farm updates, recipes, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look so you can see where everything comes from.
