Pasture-raised Red Wattle hogs, offered as whole or half shares. Hogs are rotated through pasture, free of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers, until they reach market weight around 325 lbs. Your hog then goes to a USDA-inspected facility for slaughter and custom cutting — you pay the facility directly and pick up your meat. An heirloom breed known for deep marbling and old-world flavor, raised the way hogs were raised before industrial farming took over.

Pasture-Raised Eggs
Our hens spend their days doing what chickens do best: scratching, foraging, dust bathing, and chasing bugs across open pasture. That's how we think eggs should be made, and you can see the difference the moment you crack one open.
Real pasture, not just a label. Our flock has access to fresh pasture every day, moving to new ground so the grass stays healthy and the hens always have something green to work through. At night they're tucked into a secure coop to keep them safe from predators.
What they eat. Along with everything they find on pasture grasses, clover, seeds, insects, and the occasional worm, our hens are supplemented with kitchen scraps, garden extras, and oyster shell for strong shells.
What you'll notice. Our eggs often have deep golden-orange yolks, firm whites, and a rich flavor. Shell color varies with the hen: browns, greens, creams, depending on the breeds in our flock, which include Australorp, Giant Black, Bresse and Plymouth Rock.
Seasonal and small-batch. Hens lay according to the seasons, so supply is naturally a bit lower in summer. We don't use artificial lighting to force production. That means the eggs are fresh, and we sell them within days of collecting.
Fits into the whole homestead. Our hens work the land alongside everything else we do. They fertilize pastures, control pests, and turn garden scraps into breakfast. Eggs are available as a CSA or by pickup/order locally.
Our ducks roam the farm freely. They feed off of the land plus are given supplemental vitamins and minerals. They are never caged.

Day old chicks and ducklings. We hatch out in the Spring and Fall. Chicks are for $6.00 each and Ducklings are $8.00 each.

Rabbits
Our Californian Rabbits
Californians are one of the most practical and gentle breeds you can keep on a homestead. Developed in the 1920s in Southern California, the breed was created for meat and fur, and it remains a favorite for good reason: solid muscling, efficient growth, and a calm, easygoing temperament.
You'll recognize them by their crisp white coats and dark "points" on the nose, ears, feet, and tail. A mature Californian typically weighs 8 to 10½ pounds, with a compact, meaty build.
Why we chose Californians. We wanted a breed that works hard without being fussy. Californians are known for being docile and easy to handle, for having good mothering instincts, and for producing well-fleshed kits with a high meat-to-bone ratio. They do well in our hutch setups.
How we raise them. Our rabbits are housed in spacious hutches with shade and airflow. They eat quality pellets, fresh hay, garden greens, and clean water at all times. We keep our herd small so every animal gets daily attention.
Part of the whole homestead. Our rabbits are woven into how we farm. Their manure is a gold-standard fertilizer for our CSA gardens, since it can go straight onto beds without composting first. They also provide sustainable, humanely raised meat for our family and customers.
